We start to process your old jeans!

We received a lot of jeans from you and would like to thank you for this once again! Now, it is our job to create something beautiful out of them and give them a second life! We start sewing intensively, but we are not alone - our friends craftswomen support us and join our campaign with pleasure to help us create great things for the charity auction. Meet them! 

Trashki

"I do upcycling, I regain old commercial banners, bicycle hoses or festival flags and create unique bags out of them. Trashki use only recycled materials and give them a new, often surprising shape nad we create single exemplars. 

I joined the campaign "Jeans for a better world" quite naturally, there is everything, what is important for me personally - eco, local and a good cause. I also beautiful that even a small contribution makes sense, because many small actions together create a big movement like this one :) " - says Magda.

Together with Magda we create fantastic bags and backpacks out of jeans. We hope they will make also you smile :) 

Maruna

With Maruna we work together since years, many of you surely know her unique recycling projects, some you surely also have and wear with pleasure sachettes made of pieces of african wax prints. For Gosia nothing is impossible - something that we consider useless can be a valuable raw material for her! It's not surprising that we turned with our recycling project to a real master in this area ;) 

We introduce the project of a jeans sachette, that Maruna will make for you out of your old jeans! Gosia will surely also create a surprise for you ;)

CADO

Monika and Jola joined their forces to create unique accesories and realize their passions and dreams. In their projects they use unconventional solutions, it is hard to set frames to their creations. What is also special about them is their care for the environment and the support for local businessman. Social responsibility is for them equally important as the comfort of their clients and the quality of materials used. When Jola heard about our campaign she didn't hesitate to join us and create something out of old jeans. What will it be? Trousers out of trousers - ordinary jeans will be transfromed into unique alladins trousers! 

ŻyWa Pracownia

Also a collective of artisans and craftsmen joined us, who not only promote artistic handicraft by organising workshops, but also realise ecological interior and exterior design projects. Tehy also cooperate with multiple cultural institutions and NGOs. Besides that, they also organise "Soup at the Planty" - they support homeless people in Cracow with a warm meal and some conversation. You could write a whole book about their activities! What they will create for us - this is still a surprise ;) 

We are happy that real specialists in the domain of recycling are supporting us! We are convinced that together we will create out of your jeans really beautiful things! All products will be unique and strictly limited! We also remind you that all the products will be available in a charity auction and the whole gain will be spend for the children at the Window of Life orphanage in Uganda, all the details you can find in our previous blogpost.

Besides the charity auction in Cracow, we also plan the possibility to take part and support the campaign online! We will announce all details soon!
