Here we go again putting our bet on certified fabrics. LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ viscose is a fabric that almost completely gives back the planet what it had taken from it.

It’s all about the origin

We choose LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ certified viscose because we know where it comes from. The cellulose for the fiber comes from sustainable and certified crops of eucalyptus, beech and spruce. The tree farms are controlled by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

Production under scrutiny

A transparent supply chain is what we like. The LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ production system has been designed so that the viscose fibers are easily identified at every stage of textile processing. Anyone who is serious about the environment can be sure that the fabric of clothes he or she wears was made with the maximum protection of the natural environment possible. LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ viscose is also certified by the EU Ecolabel – this label is awarded to products and services that have a much lower impact (compared to their conventional counterparts) on the environment.

Features that matter

LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ viscose has won us over with its properties. Its fibers have high hygroscopicity – they are perfect in absorbing moisture, light and pleasant to the touch – irreplaceable for hot, stuffy days, they deal well with high temperatures – they can be ironed many times (although it’s not necessary!). The most important thing, however, is that they are biodegradable thanks to the raw material they were made from.

LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ viscose in numbers

LENZING ™ ECOVERO ™ viscose (the so-called ecological viscose) is made in a loop process. As a result, comparing with its conventional counterpart, its production means 50% fewer emissions of harmful substances and water pollution. As simple as that!
